Hello members, :D

To form a tight knit community you need to get to know each other. Go ahead and tell us a little bit about yourself.

I am BioMX formerly known as Z_O_R_A_N and I have been collecting music online since 2006 but didn't go score crazy until the beginning of 2007. I'm a self employed PC repair tech who lives in the southern United States of America. Some of my hobbies include drawing, sculpting, special makeup effects. I am a single white straight male...my zodiac sign is gemini and I am probably older than most of you at 43 yo.

Hi all,
Faustus - aka Dr Faustus - Dr F - and a few others in other places - not as old as BioMX (sorry man!) but not a youngster either (33) - music is an essential part of life and if I like something, and it's available I (eventually) buy it - but it's only right that we have the opportunity to hear it first - and for that forums like this one are to be applauded. Long may it last. Motto: If in doubt - throw it out, because the more crap you own the more it ends up owning you!

Hi guys!
I´m Sethko and 21 years old who living in Germany. Music is really important for me. I hear it everywhere. At the way to my job and return and at my home. The music i associate much with my hobbies, including playing keyboard and mixing music and i have over 50 cd´s at home.
The first score i heard was star wars: a new hope and from this time i´ve found my love for soundtracks.

Hello to all..

I believe threads like this is the whole spirit of a community. It is what makes a community work, knowing that we are all friends and we can share things with each other.. With that, a little about me...

I am Arctic Omens, formely Scoreman from a certain soomed forum. For those that have SLSK, you can add me (and message me) ... I am 'The Eleventh Hour' there (minus the ' ' )

I am an avid film score fan (like, who here isnt right!) but my music tastes to not stop at that genre. I love

Heavy Metal
Ambient Electronica
Production Music
Classical Music
Video-Gaem Music
The 60's
The 70's
The 80's
Not too hot on the 90's and 00's, but hey ho!

But in a nutshell, Music is a way of life for me, as it is for most here

My collection at the moment exceeds 80,000 albums, crossing the board for all genres of music (at least that was when i last updated my list, some many years ago! I am too fearful on how many albums i have now, But suffice to say i have enough to listen to be getting on with lol!!!!

I am also a Film Producer, I have several projects going on at the moment, one that i have posted about in the chit chat forum 'Mistress of the Rock!'

Also have a horror trilogy in pre-production, the lovely looking torso in my avatar is one of the demons :)

On top of being a producer, i write scripts and compose music and have been known on occasion to direct a thing or 2

I plan to *somehow* Get the rights from David Jaffe the scripts for God of War (cant believe Brett Ratner abandoned that movie, knob jockey*)

So yeah, thats pretty much me.. If you wish to ask me questions about what i do or anything like that, feel free :)

The Smell of your Flesh is so Sweet!

Hey guys,

here comes "robbiebubble" formerly known as robertkrelle from ffshrine. My passion is filmmusic, especially SCORES ;) I'm 24 years old and living in Germany. For requests, you can PM me at any time! My collection will be up in the next weeks... stay tuned 8)

Starting in 1999, I collected tons of CDs (not that much, about 300, I think) with hours of music. My favourite composers are Jerry Goldsmith, Danny Elfman and, since last year, Brian Tyler.

I posted some albums before on ffshrine, but until the growing menace of some *x*x*x*x people... I deleted my posts and I'm happy to see so many people here again back in action :)

So let's have some fun here :)

big thanks to BioMX

I'm John Brune. I live in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I've been married since 1990 and have 2 kids. I am a self-employed videographer/editor/producer. I love collecting music and sharing rare music with everyone. I have a passion for Tangerine Dream that started with the movie "Thief". Ever since then I can blame Michael Mann for influencing my taste in music a great deal--even now with the recent "Public Enemies" as I am fast becoming a huge fan of Otis Taylor. I also love hard rock and any symphony score from John Williams, James Horner, James Newton Howard, Jerry Goldsmith, Howard Shore, Mark Isham, Thomas Newman, Ennio Morricone, and many others. I like gory movies if they're written and produced well, photography, editing, visual effects, and I especially love film editing (last scene in "Bonnie & Clyde", train hijack scene in "The Wild Bunch", final shootout in "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid", big shootout in "Heat", and any scene in the "Lord of the Rings" films or "Se7en"). I also prefer theatrical cuts of movies to most extended/alternate cuts with the exception of "Alien", "Blade Runner", "Legend", "E.T." and the "Lord of the Rings" films. I hate it when filmmakers re-edit their films, and I detest incomplete movie soundtracks. Thank God for the internet and websites like this one. Without it I never would have found the soundtrack to "The Gate". That's it.

My name is Kate, I'm a female, and I have a feeling I am younger than most of the forum's members, but speak up if you think differently. I live in the United States and I am a music fan. I have been into soundtracks ever since I was a kid, but as I grew older I became fond of scores as well. I also write so listening to scores propels my creativity quite a bit when I struggle with writer's block. I am a big fan of the 80s and I'm an even bigger fan of obscure 80s soundtracks. I will typically listen to all kinds of music and always search for something new to add to my collection.

I'm fairly virgin to the territory of music blogs, I only started discovering music sharing but a year or so ago. I haven't looked back since. I don't know how well I could contribute to the cause because my collection isn't that extensive...or even existent, but I hope I'll find my way while my time is spent here.
